01Information we collect

JEMSI LLC, operating as JEMSI Boutique, receives information you share when making a purchase, creating an account, requesting a service or contacting our team.

• Contact and orders: name, email, telephone number, billing and shipping addresses, purchases, returns and communications.
• Account and benefits: account information, preferences, favorites and JEMSI Lovers activity when you use these features.
• Services: contact information, appointment information and details you provide to arrange alterations, makeup, hairstyling or other requested services.
• Reviews: the public name, rating, comments and photos you choose to share.
• Browsing: IP address, browser, device, pages visited and interactions with our store, through Shopify and enabled tools.

Please do not send full card numbers, passwords or medical information through email, chat or reviews.

02How we use your information

We use information to process payments and orders, arrange delivery and returns, answer questions, manage appointments and alterations, administer your account and benefits, and display reviews you share.

Information may also be used to prevent fraud, resolve issues, meet legal obligations and analyze or improve the shopping experience. Promotional communications and advertising are managed according to your preferences, enabled tools and applicable requirements.

03Cookies and preferences

Our store and its providers use cookies and similar technologies for features such as keeping your cart, remembering preferences and enabling account access. Depending on settings and applicable permissions, they may also be used for analytics, personalization and advertising.

You can review the cookie notice options when available and manage or delete cookies through your browser. Blocking some cookies may affect your cart, sign-in or other features. Deleting cookies does not by itself unsubscribe you from emails or messages.

04Email, SMS and WhatsApp

We may send communications about orders, appointments and customer support. When you subscribe or authorize promotional communications, we may send news and offers through the relevant channels.

Our SMS service may include order notifications, abandoned cart or checkout reminders, offers and review requests. Cookies recording cart activity may be used to determine when to send these reminders, subject to applicable authorization and requirements.

You can unsubscribe from promotional emails through the unsubscribe link and follow the cancellation instructions in SMS messages. You can also contact us to withdraw consent. This does not prevent communications needed to complete an order or handle a request.

If you choose to contact us through WhatsApp, your communication is also subject to WhatsApp's policies.

05Shopify and other providers

Shopify provides our store platform. To operate the features you use, relevant information may be shared with providers of payments, shipping, customer support, bookings, reviews, favorites, loyalty and communications.

Providers may process information on behalf of JEMSI or, for certain services, under their own policies. Read Shopify's Privacy Policy for its practices.

We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to respond to legal requests, prevent fraud or protect rights. Data may be processed in the United States or other countries where providers operate, whose rules may differ from those where you live.

Links to social networks, partner businesses and other external sites have their own policies. Review their terms before sharing information with them.

06Payments and security

Payments are processed through the providers available at checkout. The handling and retention of payment data depend on the provider and applicable requirements; not all records are necessarily deleted when a purchase is completed.

No electronic transmission or storage method can guarantee absolute security. Contact us if you suspect unauthorized use of your account or information.

07Information retention

Information is retained for as long as needed for the purposes described, including fulfilling orders and services, handling returns, maintaining accounting records, meeting legal obligations and resolving disputes.

Retention periods may vary by data type and service. Deletion requests may be subject to legal exceptions or records needed to complete pending transactions.

08Your choices and requests

Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your data and to opt out of certain uses, such as targeted advertising or the sale of data as defined by law.

To submit a request, email info@jemsiboutique.com with the subject “Privacy request”. Explain your request and include the email associated with your account or order. We may request proportionate information to verify your identity; please do not send sensitive documents or complete payment details in advance.

We will handle requests according to applicable requirements and deadlines. If you disagree with a response, you may request a review by emailing us with the subject “Privacy request review”. Where applicable, you may also complain to the relevant authority.

09Children's privacy

The store and its shopping features are intended for adults. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review the situation and take appropriate action.

10Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the store, its services or applicable requirements. We will publish the current version and update date on this page. Where required, we will communicate material changes or request the necessary consent.
